Community Justice Center
CJC helps steward the connections.
CJC operates some pathways directly, trains and supports practitioners, convenes partners, and helps turn shared plans into usable public infrastructure.
Visit CJCCommunity Justice Fresno
Fresno already has people, relationships, knowledge, organizations, and lived experience that help communities move through conflict and harm. Community Justice Fresno is about making those strengths easier to find, connect, and grow.
Find what you need. Bring what you can. Together, we can build what Fresno needs next.
Start where you are
You do not need to understand the system first. Choose the doorway that sounds most like you.

Sometimes CJC is the right next step. Sometimes the right answer lives with a partner or public system. The first job is helping the options become clearer.
Your choice still matters.
Where participation is voluntary, people should be able to understand their options, ask questions, pause, participate, or decide another path fits better. Safety duties, court orders, mandatory reporting, and other legal obligations still apply.
Slow things down, understand options, try practical tools, or connect with mediation support.

Community justice is not only something professionals deliver. Fresno already carries knowledge, relationships, places, skills, resources, and forms of care that can become part of a stronger community response.
How it connects

CJC operates some pathways directly, trains and supports practitioners, convenes partners, and helps turn shared plans into usable public infrastructure.
Visit CJCCommunity Justice Network
CJN gives practitioners and organizations a place to connect around defined projects, referrals, practice, and shared learning without erasing partner identity or governance.
Visit the NetworkPartner organizations
Schools, nonprofits, public agencies, neighborhood groups, funders, and other partners define their own roles. Connection should make useful handoffs easier, not turn everything into a CJC program.

Learning, supported practice, demonstrated readiness, defined projects, reflection, and growth belong in one understandable path.
A Fresno thread
Community Justice Fresno is not a claim that nothing existed before. Fresno has accumulated decades of practice, relationships, institutions, and learning. The opportunity is to connect more of that capacity and make it easier to reach.
Fresno published Restorative Justice: A Framework for Fresno: a community-centered vision extending beyond any one program or institution.
Fresno DRIVE advanced a Community Justice Network and Community Justice Center vision spanning prevention, restorative practice, reintegration, and local capacity.
The opportunity now is to make community-justice support, learning, practitioners, organizations, and shared infrastructure easier to find and connect.
Build what Fresno needs next
A shared place, access funding, practitioner investment, and durable operating support are tools for strengthening community capacity—not the definition of community justice.
Community Justice Campus
A home for learning, convening, practice, and community access.
Community Justice Access Fund
Help keep cost or capacity from closing the door.
Longer-term investment
Pay people and strengthen the organizations around them.
