Listening & outreach
Help with Community Listening, outreach, and communication about what people are experiencing.
Intern with CJC
Connect your learning with community justice through outreach, projects, observation, and supervised participation. You do not need a finished placement plan to reach out.
In practice
Possibilities depend on current projects and available supervision; these are not guaranteed placements.
Help with Community Listening, outreach, and communication about what people are experiencing.
Contribute research, writing, educational materials, event preparation, and project support.
Learn through training, preparation, observation, and supervised support for mediation or restorative processes.
Support learning, outreach, and projects with young people, families, schools, and community partners.
An internship is more than required hours. Talk with CJC about what you hope to learn and what kind of contribution interests you.
For a school placement, share any timing, hours, supervision, or evaluation requirements you already know. CJC will discuss what it can realistically support before anyone agrees to a placement.
What happens next
Tell CJC what you hope to learn or contribute.
CJC considers your interests alongside current work and available supervision.
Discuss learning goals, timing, school requirements, and what CJC can support.
If moving forward, complete the agreements, orientation, training, or clearance the placement requires.
An internship does not automatically grant access to participant records, case assignments, unsupervised facilitation, or practitioner status. Each requires the appropriate preparation and authorization.
Share interest
This is an expression of interest, not a placement or application. Just your name and email to start; everything else is optional.
A placement is not the only way to learn or take part with CJC.
Connect
Follow CJC’s work, share what you’re seeing, or get occasional updates about trainings and community events.
