Volunteer with CJC
Help with community events, outreach, youth work, learning, preparation, and other practical ways CJC shows up in Fresno. You do not need prior experience to begin.
Ways to help
Volunteering can begin with a few hours, a skill you already have, or simply a willingness to learn and help.
Welcome people, help with gatherings, and support community events.
Support youth activities, peer leadership, and restorative spaces.
Help CJC stay connected to what people and neighborhoods are experiencing.
Support practical skill-building, materials, storytelling, and learning events.
Help with preparation, coordination, observation, and other supported roles before direct service.
What CJC asks
Some volunteer roles are simple and open. Others involve confidential or sensitive work and need additional preparation, screening, training, or supervision.
CJC will make that clear before you take anything on. Exploring volunteering does not commit you to a role.
